DBT Training

DBT In Practice

With Elizabeth Olson Psy.D., LCSW
September 20th, 2019, 9am-3pm

We will review the basic four modalities in depth and discuss ways that these skills are applicable to clinical practice. We will focus especially on the practice of mindfulness and explore the benefits and strategies that promote the integration of these skills into our clients’ lives.

The importance of mindfulness practice for the clinician will be discussed and experienced as well. A major component of DBT is that providers practice the skills in their own lives and in their work with clients.

In this workshop, participants will gain a clear perspective on the underpinnings of DBT and obtain practical tools that will encourage clients to become better regulated, less distressed, and live happier, fulfilling, and richer lives.

Dr. Elizabeth Olson will facilitate this training. This training can be used for Continuing Education hours toward professional development.
